Incorporating LED Lighting in a Bathroom Remodel

The homeowners in this 12 Oaks neighborhood of Holly Springs experienced water damage from a poorly waterproofed shower. The existing shower design was lacking light and though the shower was large, it was enclosed with three walls and a heavy header. The team at NC Home Remodeling suggested eliminating the water closet wall and heavy header at the shower, resulting in a bright and open space.

The vanity gets a facelift with a new grey vanity and lighted LED mirror. The new vanity gets a white quartz top with rectangular undermount sinks and new faucets. Blue walls are replaced with a light grey to coordinate with the tile and new fixtures. We love how everything came together!

The matte finish dark blue hexagon tile is the perfect contrast to silver grey wall and floor tile. A second LED lighted niche is added beside the bench. We prefer the look of solid surface stone on benches and curbs and it provides a smooth surface without grout lines to clean. The opposite shower wall presents all of the body sprayers, valves, diverter and showerhead.
